Fundraiser to help beloved Kittery community members

KITTERY, Maine – The Traip Academy family has been hurting over the past couple weeks with the sudden passing of cafeteria service worker Melissa Hasty’s husband, Michael Daigneault, and a fire at the home of school resource officer Jay Durgin in Kittery on May 11.

To help both families recover from their respective losses, Traip Academy will be hosting a spaghetti dinner from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23 in the cafeteria witth all proceeds raised being given to both Hasty and Durgin.
