The board of directors at The Fabulous Find has maintained the contents of the complaint are accurate in Denault’s report.
“It is immaterial whether or not one of our board members asked Ann Grinnell for her opinion of the Wood Island Life Saving Station Association (WILSSA),” said The Fabulous Find’s President Marcye Philbrook in an email. “It was inappropriate for Ms. Grinnell, as a member of Kittery’s Wood Island Advisory Committee and Kittery Planning Board, to object to and try to dissuade The Fabulous Find via adamant statements in the store, a hand written note and an e-mail, from giving to WILSSA.”
