KITTERY, Maine — The Kittery School Committee unanimously passed a new policy for the administering of medical marijuana to qualifying students while at school.
The policy comes from a state law passed last year that allows for the usage of medical cannabis by qualified students at school. The law leaves it up to the districts how to implement the law. District Superintendent Allyn Hutton said there has yet to be a request from either parents or students to use medical cannabis on school grounds.
