KITTERY, Maine — The Town Council will meet Wednesday for its scheduled meeting that was postponed last week due to a snowstorm.
The agenda has not changed, said Council Chair Gary Beers, aside from the Shellfish Commission chairperson withdrawing a report he was to give to the council, as he will not be able to attend the meeting.
This will be the first meeting since Nancy Colbert Puff told the councilors on Feb. 1 she was resigning her position as town manager effective March 17, and the council has not yet formally accepted Colbert Puff’s resignation, which they will do at the meeting. The council is also expected to discuss the next steps in appointing an interim town manager and finding a permanent replacement for Colbert Puff, who will become deputy city manager in Portsmouth.
