Pomerleau seeks a seat on the School Commission

KITTERY, Maine — Having come up just short in her first run for a School Committee seat last year, Rhonda Pomerleau believes she is more prepared for a seat this year.
“I was able to learn more about the school system and the committee and attended some meetings,” Pomerleau said. “I feel more prepared.”
Gilbert seeks seat on Kittery School Committee

KITTERY, Maine – Lifelong resident and 1990 Traip Academy graduate Anne Gilbert has volunteered her entire adult life, at Odyssey of the Mind events and Little League, and now hopes to tackle the role of School Committee member.
“Growing up, my family has always been really involved,” she said. “My kids are getting older now and I thought it was time to up the ante a little bit. Kittery means a lot to me.”
Rivers seeks a seat on the School Committee
KITTERY, Maine — Lifelong town resident Jonathan Rivers always had an interest in one day serving on a town board, finally deciding to jump in to the School Committee race this year, as a dearth in candidates developed.
“Nobody had signed up to run two weeks prior to the deadline, so that prompted me,” Rivers, 42, said. “I have a lot of friends and know a lot of kids in the district, I thought it was important to keep the good things going in Kittery.”
