KITTERY, Maine — Two incumbents for Town Council — both of whom happen to be two of the longest-serving councilors — were re-elected to their seats Tuesday, joined by a former councilor in the five-man race.

Frank Dennett and Jeffrey Thomson were re-elected to the council along with Gary Beers, who beat out fellow candidates Brett Costa and Jeffery Brake. Dennett was the leading vote-getter with 1,196 votes, followed by Thomson with 1,099, Beers with 1,065, Costa with 829 and Brake with 695.
