KITTERY, Maine – The voter registrar’s office will be open for two hours Tuesday night for those who need to register to vote, correct the name or address on their registration or pick up an absentee ballot.
The office will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. for those that need to take the necessary steps for voting the following Tuesday. Proof of identity and residency is required when registering to vote. The last day to pick up absentee ballots is Thursday, Oct. 29 until 6 p.m. at the town clerk’s office.
There are two Kittery School Committee seats open and three Town Council seats open, as well as municipal and statewide questions.
The state and municipal election is Nov. 3 and polls are open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kittery Community Center.
