At the roughly two-hour meeting, the Kittery Town Council also discussed the self-assessment presented by the Kittery Port Authority, as well as scheduled a public hearing regarding the condition of a building on 40 Old Post Road, commonly referred to as “Mary’s Store.”

Chair of the Kittery Port Authority Kelly Philbrook presented the self-assessment to the council, citing mistakes that have been made over the past several months with a rotating cast of personnel and consistent vacancies, making it difficult to accomplish much.
