A new traffic pattern on the Kittery side of the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge will begin on Thursday, as an intersection with a traffic light replaces a road that traveled underneath the bridge.

The Kittery side of the Sarah Mildred Long Bridge will have a new traffic pattern and stoplight beginning Thursday at 5 p.m.

Oak Terrace, the road adjacent to the bridge and has about two dozen homes on it, will be open to local traffic only.
