Kittery Maine Officers were among many Maine police officers representing the State of Maine in New York for the funeral of slain Officer Rafael Ramos.

Other agencies represented include Auburn, Belfast, Ellsworth, Portland, Scarborough, Waterville and Winslow.

Officer Ramos, whose son attends Maine’s Bowdoin College, was ambushed and shot to death along with Officer Wenjian Liu as they sat in their patrol car in Brooklyn on Dec. 20. The shooter later killed himself in a  subway.
