What is going on at the Block party.
KITTERY, Maine — Highlighting what will be another entertainment-packed Kittery Block Party, Maine humorist Tim Sample will be the daytime master of ceremonies for the event on June 21.
Sample will be at the KBP main stage in Wallingford Square from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The party is also expanding its evening offerings with music throughout the Foreside. Free valet parking will be offered by Atlantic Parking Services from 7 to 11 p.m. for the newly titled Foreside Music Fest. The entertainment schedule is as follows:
Main Stage in Wallingford Square
10 to 10:45 a.m.: Bryson Lang, family-friendly comedy juggling
11 to 11:45 a.m.: Jungle Jim, interactive entertainment for children
Noon to 4 p.m.: Melvern Taylor and his Fabulous Meltones, music and dance provided by the Dance Hall, Shades of Grass (bluegrass) and Wooden Eye (blues)
Strolling entertainment
10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: Davey the Clown
11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.: Sean McDaniel, balloon artist
Noon to 3 p.m.: Conjuring Carroll, magic and balloon artist
Noon to 2 p.m.: Southern New Hampshire Ukulele Group
Black Birch outdoor lot concert
Noon to 3 p.m.: Soggy Po’ Boys
Lil’s Cafe
7 to 8:30 p.m.: Poetry reading with host Portsmouth poet laureate and Kittery resident Kimberly Cloutier Green
Kittery Dance Hall
7 p.m.: “The Block’s Got Talent” variety show followed by a Dance Hall dance event.
