Kittery Police Logs on line

BadgelogAs a result of increasing transparency within the Town, Chief Short and Town Manager Nancy Puff, the Kittery Police Department are publishing the Police Logs on-line at www.kitteryme.gov under the departments header for the Kittery Police Department.

OURKITTERY will try to post the logs each week as they are generated. As we move forward with the logs, it is my goal to have the Fire Department logs online as well.

These logs will serve to keep the public informed of as much as possible and highlight the work that our Public Safety does and which many times goes unnoticed. At the same time alerting the public to what is happening and allowing them to be better informed.

Many times it’s the public that can stop a crime or provide information to keep our Town Safer.

In case you had not heard it enough, check your smoke detector batteries. OURKITTERY can almost guarantee that one of our residents has a dead battery and it could save your life. IS IT YOU?

Here are the 2014 logs so far.
