KITTERY, Maine — Police are seeking the public’s help as they investigate the theft of aluminum siding from a business this weekend.

Kittery detective Raymond Hazen said that sometime overnight between June 6 and 7, custom aluminum trim was stolen from the fenced-in yard of a commercial business on Route 236.

The “specialized items” were delivered to the business on Friday. They had a retail value of $2,000, Hazen said.

Nothing else was taken. The theft was discovered Saturday.

Hazen is asking anyone who saw anything suspicious to call police at (207) 439-1638.
