Memorial Bridge closing for 5 nights
Friday, March 14, 2014PORTSMOUTH — Archer Western Contractors will be closing the Memorial Bridge to all traffic (vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians) from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. five nights next week.
The closures start Sunday night at 11 p.m. (March 16) and extend through Friday morning (March 21) at 5 a.m.
The closures are needed to continue the final adjustments to the guiderail on the towers. The bridge will be an active work zone during that time so no entry will be allowed.
