KITTERY, Maine — Portsmouth Naval Shipyard plans to conduct routine emergency response training on Tuesday between the hours of 7:30 and 11:30 a.m.

This scheduled training exercise will be conducted near the marina adjacent to the former Naval Prison. This training is being conducted to ensure emergency response personnel are prepared and trained to respond to an emergency situation in an industrial facility.

Due to the location of the training exercise, some members of the public may hear noise or see emergency response personnel responding to the training event.
