Breakfast to benefit Kittery Eagle Scout project

scouts 1KITTERY, Maine — The Kittery Lions Club will host a pancake breakfast Saturday to aid the Eagle Scout community service project of Traip Academy student Howard Chandler Scully III. The breakfast runs from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Lions Club at 117 State Road.

Cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children. All proceeds and donations will go directly to fund Scully’s Eagle Scout project of building drop-off boxes to be placed at various community locations for residents to bring old, worn-out or damaged American flags. Scully and other scouts in his troop will pick the flags up regularly and bring them to local Veterans of Foreign Wars chapters to be retired in a traditional Flag Day ceremony
