Kittery plans for new superintendent search

KITTERY, Maine — The School Committee reluctantly accepted Kittery School District Superintendent Allyn Hutton’s retirement at their meeting on Tuesday evening.

Committee member Kim Bedard finally made the motion that was seconded by many on the board and unanimously approved. While Hutton had announced her retirement publicly about two weeks ago, the School Committee had not met to accept her retirement notice.
