KITTERY, Maine — The Kittery School District was awarded a $500,000 grant from the Department of Defense to aid military children in the town’s public schools.
Superintendent Allyn Hutton announced the five-year grant Tuesday evening at the School Committee meeting. Details of the grant were scant at the meeting and Hutton said more would be forthcoming in the coming weeks.
