KCC calls time out on library plans

KITTERY, Maine — The Kittery Community Center board of directors requested the Rice Public Library board of directors not to hold meetings or forums about the possibility of building a new library on the KCC campus until the library reaches an agreement with the Town Council.
In a letter to the library board, the KCC board stated it has “appreciated meeting” with the RPL board and the town’s Library Committee to discuss locating the library on the campus twice since January.
