KITTERY, Maine — The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard commander will give the commencement address to the graduating high school class at R.W. Traip Academy.
Principal Eric Waddell announced Monday that Capt. William Greene will be the speaker at graduation on June 17 at 6 p.m. Tickets are required for the event.
In the release, Traip calls Greene “a stalwart supporter” of the school since he took command of the shipyard in 2013. Greene has visited the school numerous times and helps support military-connected students at the school.
