Town Council delays talk on Wood Island


KITTERY, Maine — The Town Council will not be discussing the next steps the town should take with the Wood Island Life Saving Station Association after a concession agreement was voided by the National Park Service last month.

On Feb. 19, Elyse Forest of the National Park Service sent a letter to the town rejecting the 20-year concession agreement between the town and the WILLSA that was approved by a divided council in January.
