KITTERY, Maine — Police are investigating two robberies they say took place within an hour of each other Monday night.

Kittery Police Chief Ted Short said police responded to a call at 7:18 p.m. and then at 8:09 p.m. for robberies. According to a Facebook post by the Kittery Police Department, both victims were elderly. One event took place at Bridge Street and the second was in the area of Village Green Drive.
