KITTERY, Maine — Kittery was awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award by the Government Finance Officers Association for its 2016 budget, Town Manager Nancy Colbert Puff announced at Monday’s Town Council Meeting.

Getting the award has been one of Puff’s goals since she became town manager in November 2013, she said at the meeting.

“I am very, very pleased to have received that award,” she told the councilors.
