Kittery Town Council will host a “workshop” at Town Hall 12/14/15

imagesCAHA7VWJKittery Town Council will host a “workshop” at Town Hall from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM this Monday the 14th. It will focus on Wood Island Station’s restoration documents.

Please plan to be there with friends and family to show Town Council that there is great support for restoring and maintaining the Station without spending Town funds.

Then during the regular Town Council meeting, starting at 7:00 PM, there are three agenda items. WILSSA strongly recommends passage of all three. Approval of the amended repair agreement that will allow us to fully restore the Station, approval of the concession agreement that will allow the public to enjoy the Station after it is repaired, and approval for an application to the Maine National Guard to ask their help with rebuilding the sea walls.
Although a very busy time of year – please consider providing an hour of your time this Monday evening to come support the restoration of Wood Island Station. 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

WILSSA believes this building is an important example of what makes Kittery special. It should not be lost. The votes Council will take on Monday can set the stage for the full restoration of the Station, open to the public, something we have been working towards for a long while.

Come watch and come lend your support.
