KITTERY, Maine – The nuclear-powered attack submarine USS Annapolis (SSN 760) and her crew of 16 officers and 122 enlisted personnel arrived Saturday morning at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
While at the shipyard, Annapolis will undergo planned maintenance work and several system upgrades. Portsmouth Naval Shipyard is the Navy’s center of excellence for attack submarine overhaul, repair and modernization.
