KITTERY, Maine — Kittery police arrested two people suspected of selling heroin on Saturday.
Jeffery Ansello, 29, and Angela Whiting, 44, are charged with drug trafficking.
Police arrested them at the Circle K on Route 1. They said Ansello and Whiting had two grams of heroin on them.
Police said they believe Ansello is connected to at least two recent overdoses.
Both are being held at the York County Jail on $2,500 bail.

2 arrested on heroin charges in Kittery
KITTERY, Maine — Kittery Police arrested two suspects on Saturday, Jan. 3, at the Circle K on the Route 1 Bypass on heroin trafficking charges.
Arrested were Jeffery Ansello, 29, and Angela Whiting, 44, both of North Hampton, N.H. The charges are Class B felonies.
Kittery and Eliot Police Chief Theodor Short said these arrests were the result of a joint investigation between the Kittery Police, Eliot Police and a federal Drug Enforcement Agency Joint Task Force. Short said Ansello is a suspect in at least two recent overdoses in the Kittery/Eliot area.
