Kittery needs help with Boards and Committees. This Saturday morning May 10th, 2014 from 9-11am the much anticipated Information Morning/Recruitment for Town Boards will take place in the Council Chambers. Please stop buy and visit members from the various boards. Kittery can use your help. If you would like more information, be added to a list for future openings or submit an application for one of our many openings, now is the time to stop by and learn more about it and speak to members and the Town Manager.

The Town Council will host a “Volunteer Day” this Saturday at Town Hall, in Council Chambers, from 9 to 11 am.

If you have ever wondered about serving the community by participating on one of its Boards and/or Commissions, please stop by on Saturday morning to learn more! Representatives from all of the Town’s official groups, including the Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Economic Development Committee, et al. will be there to talk about what their various roles and responsibilities are, what kind of time commitment is required, and to answer any questions you may have.
