Kittery Community Center Auction BIG success

SoldOn 3-22-2014, the Kittery Community Center hosted the 6th annual Community Auction with the proceeds benefitting the Community Center and the Traip Academy Sports Boosters. It was held at our very own Community Center.

Participants got treated to some great food and music. Rudders Public House provided the refreshments and drinks. The Weathervane, Terracotta provided the food. The Sponsors included the Weathervane, Kittery Dunkin Donuts and the Kittery Trading Post. The silent auction had many items, but the best part of the night was the bidding wars between several tables on many high-end auction items.

After one bidding war, the crowd erupted in applause for not only to bidders, but the fact that the proceeds benefited Kittery. Among the guests were the Town Manager Nancy Colbert Puff and the former Town Manager Jonathan Carter.

The entertainment did not stop at the tables. Participants were entertained by the band Woodland Protocol. The Community Center and the Traip Academy Sport Boosters would like to thank all those who supported the Auction. Remember to visit their stores and thank them, for without their generous support, this event would not be possible.

This year’s Auction is presented by: Weathervane Seafood, Dunkin Donuts, and the Kittery Trading Post. The table sponsors were Meetinghouse Village, Kennebunk Savings and Optima Bank and Trust

A special thank you to the Kittery Community Center and Director Janice Grady for hosting this event, Chris Andrews and Cindy Denault for the hard work put forward for coordinating the donations of the auction items as well as Jeremy Paul and all the volunteers and staff members who help set up for the 6th Annual Community Auction.

Hope to see you next year. Thank you all for supporting Kittery.
