Hello everyone.  You are cordially invited to the second in a series of meetings regarding the future of Kittery Foreside.  Pease do feel free to forward this invitation to anyone you think may be interested in receiving it.
 
At our first session, we heard from a number of folks who want to play a role in determining how a number of issues are addressed by the Town.  These generally fell into the following broad categories:
 
1) Parking, Vehicular/bicycle/pedestrian movements, transit
2) Housing/affordable housing/ residential & commercial interaction
3) Business uses – growth and expansion/services desired/obstacles to locating in Foreside
4) Public Land & infrastructure – parks, waterfront, amenities, connections
 
The agenda for our next session is to present some background materials related to the Foreside area and to brainstorm about how we proceed.  We would to provide an opportunity for the continued engagement of the people who know Foreside best (e.g. YOU!) in developing a shared understanding of what Foreside offers now, what we would like it to become, and how we might go about bringing about our desired results.  Ideally this effort will allow participants to hear each others’ perspectives, research facts, learn from each other, and come up with ideas to help the area build upon its recent resurgence.
